pffft... it's very amusing to see people liking and wearing them but somehow it also saddens me. for the subcultures is being used to profit high-street fashion stores, the mainstream provokes a lot of fakes as well, living or not.
but mod is more than those high-end, almost dictated 60's clothing, definitely :]

fuck manila's traffic, we missed Ou4Lunch's set.
but the gig was mind-blowing nonetheless, Brass Munkeys had me swinging like a drunk cat over rockabilly, neo-swing and jazz. I finally got to meet and greet sir Marc Liwanag AKA Marc Sinatra, for how long.
Most of the songs they played last night were new to me. They even had a sweet lady to sing on their 2nd set, she has a very striking resemblance to the skatalites' songstress, Doreen Shaffer, but she sounds different though, she scats ala-Ella Fitzgerald!

went round and round greenbelt after the dance. chilled at McDo, Makati Ave. chat over hot choco, blend ourselves in the crowd of call center agents having their break. lol. we then went home.
