THE RULES

1. This is a meme community. Only memes are to be posted here. No game ads or individual RP threads -- they will be deleted. If you are unsure if your post is acceptable, please contact the mods before posting and we will clarify for you.

2. Be respectful of one another, please! This is an open community where everyone is invited to participate and post. We are completely accepting here, which means we are slash/femme-slash/het/whatever friendly. This also means that we are AU friendly, OC friendly, anything you can think of.

If you see a problem, please leave a comment in the concerns post or PM this account.

3. If a meme's premise ventures into a gray area, such as NC-17 smut or extreme violence, please make sure to label it as such. If you're not sure, err on the side of caution and go with the higher rating.

4. In addition, please warn for triggers if you believe the meme may have the potential for disturbing content. For memes that include triggering material in the body of the explanation of the meme, please put the details under a LJ cut. Leaving the name of the meme and a picture (if included) visible, so long as it's neutral, is acceptable.

5. If you have a problem, please bring it to the attention of the admin. Whether it be something not properly tagged or labeled, someone harassing you, or someone harassing someone else. The problem will be addressed as quickly as possible.

6. We do allow underage characters to participate in NC-17 memes. HOWEVER, if you are having an underage character participate in a smut meme or a mind fuck meme, please be aware that while you are allowed to participate, others are allowed to not play with you if they are uncomfortable with the situation. Please make it clear in the subject line of your comment (top level or a reply) that your character is underage, so there are no surprises.

7. There is currently no limit on the number of memes that can be posted daily. However, please use good judgement to avoid spamming the community and to allow for each meme to be used to its full potential. If a member is found to be posting so often that it becomes disruptive, they will be contacted and asked to refrain.

8. The disruptive and/or noxious presence rule. Basically, this means that players who act in a disruptive manner or in some way that takes away others ability to enjoy the memebells environment can and will be banned. You will receive two mod warnings in plain, public sight for your behavior and, if the behavior is repeated, banned. This rule is intended for those players who are not strictly breaking a rule, but are repeatedly undermining the overall "don't be a dick" atmosphere we're trying to provide here.

9. Feel free to link us in your RP games or on your RP/RL journals. More advertising means more new people to play with.
