I get that you're trying to push the genuineness (or lack thereof) of Maja (with a "j") Ivarsson. I think perhaps it was, like you said, your mood. . .or the crowd. . . or her night. So you made a judgment on her rockstarring capabilities based off of one performance. Fine. I'd do the same if I'd never seen a band live before (and actually, when I first saw them I'd never seen them or heard more than one of their songs but the show was outstanding). You should research a little, though. Maja is by no means "pretending to be a rockstar" or Debby Harry. Everyone has their influences. It's impossible to create something that has not already been done. Although stage persona is separate from real life personality, I would also like to note that Maja is extremely genuine and real in person. She's not a crazy ass who jumps around everywhere. Quite the opposite. I talked to her for about 15 minutes. She is one of very few performers who actually appreciate their fans. Maybe I take more into account than most when it comes to bands. Just my opinion.
