[Accidental Video]

[the feed comes on to an angry Dean, who has had his boots set upon by a wild mini-rex. The feed is at first just showing the boots which have sizable holes in them now as the little T-rex had tried to get to his feet and ankles. The bottom of his jeans have a few holes in too. It's also showing the floor of the shopping district's main street ( Read more... )

[Text will take too long to write out, so have a video feed. Featuring a very proud Nepeta standing in a pile of dino-corpses and munching on an unfortunate little stegosaurus.]

...Heehee! What are you doing, Mr. Dean? [Humans are so weird. This weird lizard thing is delicious. Look at this happy Nepeta.]

[He's not hungry enough to try eating them. He pauses, looks behind him, and picks up the tablet.] Damn, I hope Sam doesn't see this.

I'm trying to catch it. [He watches it scuttle away and follows it slowly, padding silently.]

[Nepeta could just purr at this hilarity. Oh wait. She is purring. PurrrRRRRrrrrRRRRRrrrrRRRRrrrrr!]

That's furry silly of you, Mr. Dean! Would you like me to help?

...You realise it's not for eating, right?

I can catch it without killing it if you want! You need to get a box to put it in, though, some of these are furry dangerous!

[He rolls his eyes] It'll be fine. I'll stick it on a leash or something, we don't need a box.

[He goes to grab it again, but it gets away again.] And yes, a little help would be great.

Heeheehee! I'll be right over!

[And right over she will indeed be. Lashing tail and all. And still purring.] Mr. Dean, I'm here! Where's the beasty?

Thanks. [...He still thinks you are..... completely strange, still not quite sure how to take you, but you haven't tried to gut him, eat him, or just generally attack in any way since him being here, so he guesses you're good.

He points to under a market stall, the tail can be seen poking out of the edge.] Just there.

[She drops into a crouch, her purring ceasing as she stalks forward carefully. One hand/foot at a time, keeping her tail off the ground but not above her body, her eyes trained on the little lizard-thing. She manages to get inches behind it before pouncing, letting her just scoop it up and hug it, despite heated protests and bite attempts from it. It shows to her strength that she can hold its mouth shut with one hand. She sits up and looks up in search of praise, grinning.] See? No purroblem!

That was... [A little freaky and yet a little awesome. He'll go for praise, seeing as that's what she seems to be looking for.] That was awesome.

[He gets a rope, ties it around it's mouth fairly tightly to act as a make-shift muzzle, then ties it around the thing's neck. Et Voila, it's on a leash.] Thanks. [He's resisting the urge to tug her tail all the while she stalks the thing, and now that urge is no less strong. Not in a nasty way, just to see how real it is.]

[Nepeta giggles and purrs at the rope arrangement, releasing the dino once she's sure it's safe for them and getting up to her feet.] It's kinda cute like that! Like one of the human woofbeasts I've seen! Heehee! [Not that she understands the purpose for that at all. Oh look, her tail is wiggling. Temptation, temptation~!]

[His eyes are tracking the movement of her tail subtly. He shouldn't.

But it's so hard not to. He wraps the rope around his hands, and tries to quell the urge by holding the rope tighter than strictly necessary.

wait a sec. confusion furrows his brow.] Woof... beasts? [the word 'woof', and the leash bring him to one conclusion:] you mean a dog?

Is that what humans call them? [The end of her tail flicks thoughtfully.] On my planet they're just woofbeasts. They're cute, but not as pawssitively adorable as meowbeasts! [She claps her hands, suddently getting the best idea "e-fur".] Ooh, we should give the beasty a name! Like... like Breadsnout. Or something. Hmmm... Terezi is better at making up dragon names than I am.

Meowbe- I'm gonna guess you mean a cat. [his eyes flick as they watch her tail. goddamn it all.]

That's a good idea. But... that's not a dragon, that's a dinosaur. A really little T-rex, to be specific. And because he's a T-rex, he's being called Bolan. Or Finn. I haven't decided yet.

Uh-huh! Cat's a fancy blueblood term, though, meowbeast sounds better when you're not making puns.

It looks like a dragon to me. Except with a big head and no wings. [Swish swish goes her tail.] Is a dinosaur like a lusus? He looks like a baby lusus.

100deaths_a_day March 2 2012, 11:02:57 UTC
...I don't even know what a Lusus is.

[His hand tightes around the leash again. Goddamn it, restrain yourself man.]

And It looks more like a lizard then a dragon.
