My new life
I haven't posted in forever. I had to move my car this morning at 7am, and I can't go back to sleep, so I thought why not blog and tell all you lovely people what's going on with me. I'm staying at a friend's house while he is out of the country. I'm completely moving out of my house by the end of the month and staying here for September. Let me tell you how fucking exciting I am to be mostly out of that house. I've moved all my cooking stuff here so I don't have to be in that roach infested kitchen anymore! It's nice having my own place again even if it just for 5 weeks. I've had it up to here with picking up other people's shit all the time.
Let me tell you I'm also very excited about my new roommate and my new place. It is awesome: hardwood floors, it's huge with big windows and lots of light, the kitchen is huge with a breakfast nook, my new roommate is the shit: clean, considerate, creative, just awesome. Great location too! Once I get settled in Emily and I will be having a housewarming party for sure!
I've been consumed with my business as of late. Everything is moving along. Business card almost done, postcard for promo done, printing done by next week, put it all over town, get jobs, yay! There is SO much I have to do for this business: get CA license, business license, resellers permit, liabilty insurance, food handlers certification, find commercial kitchen to rent, buy a ton of new kitchen wares, try not to lose my mind. It's all getting done in a very timely manner, so I should be officially up and running by end of September, if not sooner.
I'm only working part-time right now, so I've decide to do another medical study starting next week. Gotta finance this business somehow. It's alittle scary, but it's easy money.
I've made some amazing friends here and I'm truly happy with my life. And thankful and grateful, I want to show gratitude every moment for my life. I'm finally doing exactly what I want to do, and soon I'll be making a big difference in families across the city (eventually across the nation).
That is all for now. I miss all my friends back in Texas very much. Hopefully I'll be coming out in October sometime. I hope you are all doing well!!
