Sophia just sent me the world's greatest and most inappropriate care package. I opened it in front of a room full of my peers and also my director (who is a 33 year old man). So now my mentor knows that I own sex toys. I didn't even ask for them. I won't even use them. But I have them. And he knows. And he smirkingly brought it up to me today as we sat watching rehearsals for the winter one-act play festival.
I really think my love for "LOST" is becoming unreasonable and that my relationship to fictional characters is beginning to take the place of real community in my life.
I don't actually think that. Not because I don't watch "LOST" that much. But because I maintain real friendships in the face of my heartfelt and meaningful relationships with Claire, Charlie, Locke, Kate, Sayid, Sawyer, Jack, Sun, Jin, and Desmond, to name but a few.
