oops i sharted again
New year's eve was a blast once again. Chicago done us good. A quick synopsis...
I got into the chicago area on wednesday night. Jessie, Hunter and i went to see "The Life Aquatic" and i proceeded to fall asleep. Dont hate though, it was a 9:45 show and i was tired from work as well as the 3 hour drive.
The next day we headed downtown for a little shopping and chillin and what not. We ate at bennigan's with Jessie's friend Kevin from school. Our waitor stunk and was slower than shit, but you'll have that. I didnt really get anything outside of some sunglasses from H&M and a scarf and tie from the Gap (i didnt even know that the gap made ties, oh well). We got back home and visited with Uncle J, the sicillian dude that always busts my balls. He's hella cool and always encouraging with career advice and stuff.
On the afternoon of the 31st, we headed back downtown to check into our hotel room and meet up with our crew for the night. We went to the same bar as last year, which was cool. I didnt realize how drunk i got but perhaps the kajillion people i called knew. Regardless, i had a blast ringing in the new year.
Jessie headed back to michigan on the first, which was sad because we had a good break, but i stayed in the city for another night. We switched hotels to a better one on michigan avenue (the marriott, above the virgin megastore). Very cool hotel with a rad view, minus the crazy rain that dampened the night. We hit division street (not from the thursday song) and got in around 3am. I behaved myself so i felt great when i woke up the next day. I hit H&M again since it was like a block away and got some more stuff (did i mention how much i love that store??). On my way back i nearly sharted myself because i ran into David Hyde Pierce, aka Niles Crane from the show "Fraser." We watched a homeless guy piss in a garbage can and he grabbed a taxi. Very surreal expereince, watching some hoodrat piss with fraser crane's tv brother. You never know who you'll meet.
