I am an oniomaniac.
And I'm serious. I was wondering if there was a term to describe my obsession, and I don't think that I'm oversizing it. I have an obsession with spending money. If I see something that I like, it doesn't matter if I already have 234536 variations of the same thing, I'll buy more of it anyway. It gives me satisfaction to spend money, to buy more and more things until I'm broke, and do it all over again when I get more money. And I am not by any means rich. Having a job allows me to make money every week...and in turn I spend it. If I leave the house and I don't buy anything, I feel empty, like my whole day is wasted.
Yes, I know I'm sad. I have an obsessive personality in many ways. I'm sure that I am a -maniac in many other ways.
Or maybe I'm just obsessed with diagnosing myself, or being diagnosed. I definitely am.
