This weekend was a bit on the lame side. Friday night I either got violently drunk off of four beers or I got food poisoning. Note to self: eating at Charlie's is now a no-no. Ended up puking three times between getting home and taking the cat to the vet the next morning. Actually contemplated puking into a soda cup in the car.

Took Isabelle to the vet finally. We were there for about three hours. She got all sorts of bloodwork done and I won't get to hear any results until tomorrow. I'm really quite worried because words like "cancer" and "kidney failure" came up as possibilities. But then again, so did "urinary tract infection." So maybe she'll be okay. The vet referred to her as "geriatric" due to her age. Isabelle did not like that.

So I've been giving her antibiotics 2x a day (liquid form), and I've managed to figure out a way to pin her down, get the dropper full, pry open her jaw, , squeeze in the medicine, close her jaw so she cant spit it out, and repeat so that I can give her a full dose (the dropper isn't large enough).

After the vet, I wasn't in the friendliest or happiest of moods so I skipped out on a mini-glitter meet-up and instead went and bought a bedframe for my new bed and a cover for the futon which is now our couch. Also bought kitty supplies inclung a second litter box, regular clay litter, and wet food. Being on the antibiotics and a sick, the vet told me she needs wet food for a while.

I think I fell asleep around 9:30 after eating way too much ruffage at dinner and feeling sick again. I should have listened to Dr. Monkey and stuck to the BRAT diet post-puking.

Sunday, Sean and I went to see "Murderball," which was quite fucking excellent. A documentary about loud-mouthed parapalegics playing contact wheelchair rugby? Awesome. Later in the day, we had a most excellent dinner including a cheap but decent Pinot Noir from Montinore vineyard in the Willamette Valley. Decent enough for $13, anyway.

Today ive got to head over to the bank to get a cashiers check for rent. The question at hand is: for lunch do I stop at Taco Hell, which I allow myself about 2-4 times per year and possibly get sick again, or do I go to TJs and get something but possibly get trapped by having to talk to old co-workers when I don't have the time to chat for a half hour? I'm down to $120 to live off of for the next two weeks, so I think it shall come down to whichever is cheapest. Sadly, Im not sure which that would be.

This week, I am sans-boss at work.
