My bad fanfic ideas are (almost) canon!
I don't like the new Batgirl-not Steph as Batgirl, but the new Batgirl in general for so many reasons, but I have to admit that after the last issue I, kinda, like that Miller guy. He writes a Babs that is not bad, but she's not good, and his Steph is way too clumsy (she is clumsy, just not that clumsy), but I'm going to thank him for this page:
Babs is drinking! While working! In the Batcave! This makes me so happy because right now I can and I will write the 'Babs is an alcoholic' bad fanfic I so wanted to write but couldn't because I couldn't screw her character that much!
But now? Now is canon! And of course she's drinking. She's Oracle. She watched every one come back from the dead (Barry/Hal/Bart/Kon...hmm, must be a gender thing) while she's still in the chair. I mean, if my late mother, God bless her soul, came back from the dead and I was still in a wheelchair I would hit the bottle as well.
And not only that. Roy would have company, let me tell you that.
Thank you so much Bryan Q. Miller for Batgirl #9! Thank you! Forget that Babs in BoP #83 said that she's not really a drinker. Forget that! I mean, who takes time to go read old issues anyway? Obviously DC writers don't take the time and obviously (again) DC doesn't really care about having their facts straight.
