Why I love Damian...
Batgril#5 is out. As much as I want to like hte new Batgirl, I can't. It reminds me so much of Ultimate Spiderman and I never liked Spiderman in any form. People seems to like it, and since it's the only title that has Babs as a co-star, I hope it sell well. Stephanie Brown is a character that leaves me with a 'meh' feeling, but add some Damian there and you have one happy reader.
Spoilers:
* Stephanie frozes Damian and he's one unhappy puppy. He treads to kill her and she thinks he jokes...or at least she hopes he jokes.
* Batman is unhappy with Barbara for letting someone as unexperience as Steph to go into battle. I kinda agree with him. She froze Damian!
* Dick and Barbara have a fight. Babs, being the redhead with the temper, says to him that Bruce is not here anymore so Dick should suck it! She didn't said 'suck it', but it was there, between the lines.
* Barbara is pissed off for the rest of the comic. She meets the new Detectice (Nick), but she's still angry with Dick to act civil. I just want to think that Babs doesn't want to give Nick a chance 'cause he's not Dick (or Dinah).
* Damian is stalking Steph. I swear that kid can make Damian cry 'uncle'. Seriously, he's a ten year old Jack Torrance wannabe.
*Steph and Barbara almost wear the same size. Way to go DC!
