Emma drops her spoon when Regina jumps away from her seat, dropping down her chair and all the glasses from the table; Henry leaves a small scream and Cora’s eyes are already reddish with tears.
“I’ll be in my room,” she informs them and, when her daughter says nothing, just stares at the object that caused all this havoc, she leaves the room with as much grace as a miller’s daughter turned Princess has.
“Regina,” Emma starts to say when the other woman shakes her head and runs out of the room, opposite direction from her mother, leaving a very confused Henry and an even more worried Emma.
When Henry looks at her for answers, Emma debates lying to him or telling him the hard truth. “Your grandmother has her heart, Henry, but your mom is still afraid of her.”
