It is a little weird.
All of them together in the same room drinking tea and talking tactics.
Okay, maybe it’s a little more than weird.
If Emma hadn’t just come back from Fairy Tale Land (or what’s left of it anyway)…yeah, okay, so maybe drinking tea with the Evil Queen is not so weird.
But it is a little scary.
And then it hits her.
“You are afraid,” Emma says and watches the reactions around the table; her mother stops talking and David looks as if he wants to say something before shaking his head and going back to the map. “You are afraid that she will kill you.”
“No dear,” Regina says after she takes a sip from her teacup and wipes her lips to a napkin (Emma is so sick and tired of the Queen’s perfect manners, especially now with Cora just around the corner), “It’s you who should be afraid of that.”
“Oh,” Emma says and takes a sip from her tea, not exactly thirsty, but wanting to win some time. “Okay. But you are afraid,” and she’s not sure how to feel about that because if the Evil Queen is afraid then they should be terrified (and running for shelter). “If you’re not afraid that she will kill you, then what are you afraid of?”
Regina smiles softly, “That she will not.”
