He finds himself looking for the boy.
At first the boy was…an unpleasant surprise. Damian was a little too much like his mother and a little too much of him, and that scared him. He finally understands how Alfred felt all those years ago.
But it’s different with Damian; the boy is more than capable to protect himself, but Bruce is always afraid. It confuses him in a way. He hadn’t let himself feel this way since Jay…since a long time ago.
He needs to know where Damian is even if it drives the ten year old crazy.
Damian thinks that he doesn’t trust him or that he’s not worthy, but he couldn’t be more wrong.
Bruce…needs the boy.
And that scares him because he doesn’t know if he’s worthy to be Damian’s father.
