Costume looks awesome! So what do you think? Whom do you think NW is? Dick or Jason? I mean, he looks a little too dark and angry to be Dick, but it's a reboot. Although, from what I read, it's not a reboot but more of a relaunch so I'm kinda okay with it.
I mean, it's not like the reboot they did with Wonder Woman a year ago. DC changed (almost) everything about WW and left everything else the same, but this time? This time they're changing everything. I guess that's why I don't have a problem with Babs-well, okay. I do have a problem with Babs being Batgirl (if it's a fact and not just a rumour) but not for the reasons you'll believe. First of all, I don't think that DC build a time machine and Babs being Batgirl doesn't mean that she will go back to the 60's, but that's another story. But I will be pissed if they break up Dinah/Babs. That's my problem.
It's not as if Babs will de-age while everyone else is staying the same. DC is not Marvel. Anyone remember the late 80's/early 90's when Marvel de-aged Ro and we had Little Ro with bad hair? That's not going to happen to Babs...the de-age thing not the bad hair. God, that girl had her fair share of bad haircuts!
So, um, I'm sorta okay with it. I know that Babs even as Batgirl will not go back to time or act like she did in The Batman or B:TAS since most people that have a problem with her as Batgirl (other than being a Cass or a Steph fan) is that Babs Batgirl was silly. Obvioulsy they haven't read the comics. Sure, she wasn't as dark and angsty as Cass was, but back then neither was Batman.
What I'm trying to say is, that yes, I have a problem with this whole reboot/relaunch thing, but I'm willing to give it a try. No need to be negative about something I haven't see/read. But I do know for a fact that I'm going to buy Nightwing.
The boy (Dick or Jason or Tim or whoever he is) looks amazing!
