Kissing is a work of art, only most people dismiss it as an artistic expression of love.
Saitoh hated sloppy kisses, where the other person tries to devour your lips and their plaque-blazed teeth bite furiously into your flesh, drawing blood like a determined leech. Scraping against the receiver’s mouth was also a big turn off for him; he did not like the kisses that most teenagers indulged in, the showy type where tongues battled to game dominance or to put on a show for audiences.
Kisses were intimate, meant to be shared by two people and two people only.
Kisses had to have the precise amount of contact, a certain element of something special to make it a real good one.
Most kisses did not fit Saitoh’s picky requirements.
However, this kiss was just right.
Ruito pressed his lips lightly against Saitoh’s and held it there just long enough for the man to catch a faint wisp of Ruito’s boyish smell. Warmth tingled against his lips, spreading from his face to his body, to his fingertips and down toward his toes, making his heart race in excitement.
Never once did he think that a young boy could make him feel like this, like he was floating amongst the clouds.
The boy smiled into the kiss before pulling away, leaving a trace of happiness lingering on Saitoh’s lips.
If Lolita made Humbert Humbert feel this way, Saitoh couldn’t blame the man for falling in love with her.
