Fashion Dilemma
There's two wedding coming my way and I don't have time sew a dress or two because I'm also in the process of moving so that leads me to a problem. [I suppose to be a bridesmaid for one of them [my sister's] but I highly doubt it so I'm making sure I have a backup plan.]
I have no idea where to buy a long [ankle length] modest dress that's dressy enough for a very formal wedding, plus sized but doesn't look like a bridesmaid dress and is under $100. I may be able to go up to $150 if absolutely needed.
The plus sized part is the most challenging. I wear between a 22W and a 28W depending on the cut of the dress [and the company who makes it] as I'm very hourglass shaped.
High collar and long sleeves is ideal but mostly length needs to be there - at least 53" long from the base of the neck. I can hem anything longer. I'd prefer to hem. I can get a bolero jacket cover the upper half if needed.
I've checked out several sites mentioned recently on this community but everything seems so casual as daily wear is always a big issue.
Any suggestions?
