Greetings all!
Good news, the
Shukr order arrived yesterday and I'm so pleased with it. They're lovely! Only downside is they were out of the gray cordouroy trousers I'd ordered. I'll need to find a second pair in a different colour, I guess.
Last night, when we went to the grocery store, I wore the black trousers, comfy. A way to get me used to the clothing and to introduce my darling to the wardrobe change. Today I wore more of the clothing to get used to how it feels.
His comment was 'they look like a skirt' and I responded with 'yes, I like it that way'.
Some thoughts about the clothing:
I'm not a big-boned person, my bone structure is that of my mother's: small. If you are a short person, you might need to take up the hems of the garments. I'm 5'3" and I have to wear heels with these or they would be dragging the ground. I ordered the size medium across all the items I chose and the length is the only 'issue' I had.
If you're broad across the back, you might find an issue with the coats. I'm small across the back but did find the long coat does pull a little when I reached forward. I had to lift my arms up then forward to keep it from pulling tight.
The zanjan blouse's sleeves are a bit on the long side, for me, anyway.
The deep v-neck pullover needs a shirt underneath, but can make an excellent nursing top for those ladies who are doing so with their babies. I didn't order the poncho, but you might consider that with the the deep v-neck pullover.
Overall, I give Shukr a 9 out of 10.
In the next couple days, I think I will post pictures, all under the lj-cut. One post for 'everyone' and one post 'for women/girls only'. I'm doing this segregation to maintain a bit of modesty and to allow women to see what the garments are like on a non-model. If anyone has an issue with this, do please leave a comment and I will try to find a more appropriate way. I only seek to help other ladies get a sense of the clothing from the view of a customer.
Peace!
