Well, i'm back from new york and it was the best experience of my life. Playing carnegie hall was a trip and it didn't even hit me untill we finished and i looked out and a full house was standing and applauding. It made it so much better that dexter texted me 5 minutes before saying he was seeing me play. One of the best nights was eating dinner with a bunch of new york musicians and getting to ask questions, and then seeing a jazz concert at lincoln center with the back drop being a glass wall showing all of new york lit up. After walking around for 20 hours a day and being lucky if we got 2 hours of sleep i'm exhausted, so its nice to come home in time for spring break and rest up. I'm excited for graduation, this summer brings jazz camps including the medeski martin and wood camp if i get enough money. I guess i'm not scared because I actually have things to look forward to.
