I don't remember anyone saying these things would bite me! Like it's my fault for being too busy trying not to freeze or starve! And it didn't even have the decency to break when I threw it...this chip simply has to go!Well well, what have all my neighbors been up too lately? Nothing good if the tones of your voices are any indication. Someone ( Read more... )

The same thing happened to me not long ago. Do you know why it does that?

Not exactly. I think it happens if you neglect it for too long...which is just stupid.

How annoying. I have better things to do than talk, write, whatever you want to call it, into this idiot box.

Like surviving. I don't know what the people who brought us here are thinking anyway. Food is scarce enough and now there's a bunch of new mouths to feed...on top of that we're supposed to 'check in'? Ridiculous!

Exactly! If I am being held in some shithole against my will somehow by some group of fools, what makes them think I want to communicate with them?

I wasn't aware of the food scarcity; I was staying near the forest until the cold rain forced me to find more appropriate shelter.

There are some advantages to the little machines, but being forced to use them is really asking too much.

The stored food supplies are almost empty, and no one's been able to find anything out in the city...but if you can handle the monsters out there you're a lucky one.

Oh really now? Then I take it that there are items to be found under 'normal' circumstances? The beasts here are... not easy game.

It's not very good, but usually the food comes in containers made of thin metal or some other noisy material. At least it keeps us from going hungry...when it can be found.

Of course not! Well, so long as they aren't rotten...did someone tell you they were?

No... It was merely an assumption. Any food covered in metal can't be very good for you.
