hello livejournal it has been a while!
i had to cancel on these guys who wanted me to do a mural. It was becoming an incredible hassle for them to describe to me what they wanted, and with every revamp it was still wrong, so i've given up on them and told them there's only so far i can stretch my style. I think they wanted something more realistic in design, and i'm not strongest in strict realism.
Sucks, i did really want this on my resume, but i'll be damned if i'm going to do a shit job on a project this big. There'll be other opportunities, i'm sure.
i'm also closer to my financial goal of 3k, which is nice. Should reach past that goal in about two paychecks! With this boost in finances i can comfortably plan a plane trip to Buffalo in mid/late july like i want, giving me a last chance to hang with my hometown friends before i make a venture out west
