No, I haven't disappeared

Well, it's been a while since I posted anything here, so I thought I'd drop a line.

Despite the rumours and suppositions, no, I'm not dead, I haven't been kidnapped and I'm not really one of the 4400. (Although that would be cool, wouldn't it? :D )

Just took and passed my certification test for my level 2 instructor's certificate, and in the beginning of October, I'll be going to a camp for my final certification test. Then I'll be completely certified, and ready to start as a chief instructor! Wahoo!

Just went to my 20th high school reunion, and let me tell you, the ultimate revenge is showing up with (most) all my hair, and in shape. Considering I grew about 9 inches and put on close to 70 pounds since then, I was surprised anyone recognized me. However, most did, and everyone was pretty cool. Got to catch up with some people I haven't seen in forever, had a good time, and got to spend time with my parents in Colorado. :D :D :D

Got a meeting in about a week to see if we get the church we want, and then we can proceed with getting invitations, caterers, photographers, motel rooms, etc etc etc...Vegas is looking better and better.

Huh. You'd think being so out of touch would mean I could fill up more of an entry, but mostly it's been work, home, martial arts, sleep, work, home, martial arts, sleep, almost ad infinitum. I figure I've got about 5 more months of complete insanity, then once the new year rolls around I'll have a lot more free time with the way my schedule will change.

Hrm. Think maybe I need to take some stream of consciousness drug to match Guido's verbosity. Nahh, that just wouldn't be me. :D

Oh, yeah, we saw the Johnny Depp version of "Willy Wonka" this weekend. While I still like the Gene Wilder version better, I must state the fact that Johnny Depp just f'n rocks! That boy can act! Didn't like what they did with the Oompa-Loompas, and the entire movie was Tim Burton all over it, but I liked the movie overall. Oh, and if you haven't seen Wedding Crashers, you're missing out! I haven't laughed that at a movie since "All of Me" (Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin).
