happy thanksgiving!

For a variety of reasons, none of them interesting, I did not celebrate Thanksgiving this year, did not eat turkey or anything like that (in fact, I am not a huge fan of turkey). Instead, I just went home after my evening class, and fell asleep about ten. It felt wonderful.
I *did* show my students "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" that I had downloaded off Limewire. It came with 1980s commercials for Doublemint gum, Charles in Charge, E/R, and a Grease-like commercial for milk by the National Dairy Board. You know, some of those commercials were definitely older than my students, but not older than me. Scary!
