a day off.........finally
so i went to the movies with a girl last nite. we went out to eat and then for ice cream on the beach. then we were supposed to go see the motorcycle diaries but she walked to slow. so we didn't make it in time. we had to settle for seeing the grudge. which is fucking awesome. if you liked the ring you'd love this movie. same style only done much better. not only was this movie aesthetically pleasing it was fairly original and highly enjoyable. after the movie i had hoped to see the eclipse but it didn't happen in hawaii, so i just walked her home and got a frozen cherry coke.
since i am sure everyone is curious about her: she is a swimmer for UH born in New Mexico but has lived in Hawaii for about four years. first on Maui then recently moved here. she is a physics major and pretty bright. i don't think it will go anywhere meaningful but hopefully she'll become a friend of mine. if not i'll just stab her in the throat.
i posted my resume on monster.com awhile ago and yesterday i received a job offer. get ready insurance world here i come, provided there is no dress code and i get past the interview.
my roommate went back to guam to visit. hopefully he'll bring back some lumpia, cause that shit is gangster.
