now i know i'm addicted to the internet
today sucked balls.
not only internet, but cell phones and long distance we're kaput (and long distance isn't very long here). banks were either closed or letting people in one at a time, and many places were taking cash only. luckily I found a gas station that was using their old credit card machines, or else I wouldn't have gas for my car now.
It's very weird being so disconnected from the rest of the world :-/
everything must have just come back online because it wasn't when I left work, but that was an hour ago.
