Frame finished
Well, I can't say that it's finish. Progress is a matter of definition, but I feel like I've had a success. Mostly because it took like 2 hours to take apart that damn umbrella. Man alive that it was difficult. Then one one of the wires popped loose and the middle section smashed my finger. That was fun. But I will hopefully have the coolest costume for OsFest. I will have to get more work down since I will be in Texas for three weeks in the summer. I have to plan my time now for it. The frame is set. I just got to figure out the best way to attach it to the harness and how to tie the things to manipulate the wings. I don't want to do anything half way, so the wings will actually flap. Ha! No going to the hardware store to buy supplies. With my own ingenuity and random things around the house, I've conquered another random craft project. I don't know if that means that I'm lazy or just really crafty. Now, I will have to decide on the material and what type of painting to do. I'm going to add some peacock and black feathers for accent. I hope that it will end up looking as cool as I think in my head.
