so i was thinking...
it's crazy to imagine that saddam does not exist any more. i know and believe that he got what he deserved, if not less, but it's still crazy to think about. one of the worlds most loved and feared dictator is gone, forever. it's a name that we've heard countless times growing up. it was big history when he was hanged. i can't believe someone hasn't dropped a bomb or something. of course, i am grateful no one has.
...okay - i'm going to admit, i miss the 90s. like woah.
i miss hearing boyz II men, the gim blossoms, and all those dance hits that no one knew who sang them on the radio. i miss being young and nieve. i miss living in huntsville and riding my bike around my apt building with mu bff listening to all those dance songs on our little battery radio we rubberbanded to our bikes. i remember swimming and the smell of tanning oil and those poppy rock songs playing on our radio. omg and the shows - clarissa explains it all, pete & pete, salute your shorts, hey dude...
oh holy crap there is sooo much more. however, i've found myself sucked in, downloading every 90s song i can think of :)
