work drama over the past few weeks.
the contract which our program is funded wasn't renewed, so basically we were all going to be out of a job after september 30th. then it's announced the company will take over our wages, but only until october 31st. so of course we're all looking for work.
before the extension, one person leaves with a days notice. work distributed among those left. then another gets a job, puts in her two weeks notice. then one person switches to the other program who has funding until december 31st. then i'm offered a position at the company in almost the same position, just the regular program. then my job offer is rescinded because another girl is on vacation and to be "fair" she has to be offered too. she is offered the position too, but declines because she has a job offer and puts in her two weeks. then the position is given to me again.
i transition into the new position over the next two weeks, while putting in overtime in my current position to help the girls with reporting and file management.
my salary will be the same, my job almost the same but with more reports and more details required. i hope it'll be a good thing because i do love my job.
