Corwin, you know I've always seen you....really seen you. It what drew me to you. Not the flowery words, or the cute little smirk, as you may think. Here are the things I remember about you the most:

These words "I dont make a habbit of breaking fine porceline, even if it is chipped in places."

And the sight of you stepping between me and that gun barrel, the signature smirk in place. I know few people who would do that for me, and no matter what others say about you, no matter how they try to show me the 'ulterior motives' they think you have, and be it a friend or my future husband who speaks ill of you, I always come back with "He faced a gun for me." And that is that.

Dont get me wrong! The Corwin I knew (maybe you've changed since) is still someone I wouldnt trust with my daughter! lol But I would trust him with my life, and I dont say that about many people.

I dont love you because of your jokes, or your smile, or any of that. All that just makes you you. Imp, I love you because you ARE you. And knowing that I see the real you, that should tell you something.

I would wait for you in the snow, know that always.

Oh, and I almost forgot. I still credit you with giving me a backbone, as always, helping your friends. This time I held onto it.

*sniffles* Thank you. You don't know how much that means to me.

So few people say so few good things about me these days that I count every one of them as precious.

I'm glad that you remember all of that. It seems though that, ultimately, I haven't changed that much at all.

And by the way, congratulations on holding onto that backbone. Though really the credit should go to you. You can't give someone something they don't have, only show them that they can use it.

Much love for the Kitty and her new soon to be.

Sword held high,
-Corwin
