Swine Flu!

So I am really out of the loop because I haven't had cable tv in 2 months. BUT, this weekend I found out that there are 2 confirmed cases of swine flu in my brother's school district! The school district i grew up in right outside of San Antonio. freaking crazy. I feel so bad, they've cancelled school for the entire district for a minimum of one week (the high school is closed until further notice). Prom, all sporting events, and even possibly graduation have been postponed until further notice as well. And my brother just ordered his tux for prom last week!
Crazy. How in the hell is there an outbreak of swine flu? They're telling everyone not to leave their houses unless you have to and to stay away from group gatherings. Honestly, san Antonio is looking a little ghost town-ish today. There are people out and about, but nothing like normal.
