It really hurts my feelings when the good movies aren't released with director/actor commentary tracks. This is same story, new chapter for me. It happened with No Country for Old Men. It happened with There Will Be Blood. It happened with many other favorites of mine.
It's my guilty pleasure. I love to watch movies with commentary. You learn so much about the movies and the people that made them and sometimes you just have a darn good time. You feel as though you're there with them.
So, Mr. Nolan, what is so fucking hard about sitting down with a tape recorder in hand and watching your own movie. You can't spare a couple of hours between filming?!?!
What takes up so much of your time, Joel and Ethan Coen, that you can't sit and watch your movie and talk for me?
I need this. It's like cocaine. It lifts me up. Commentary should be a requirement.
