Where on earth am I? This is not Connecticut, and this city is most certainly not New York. If this some sort of joke, then it is a very poor one. Who is responsible for this?

((So, what if Ichabod had never discovered his mother's body in the interrogation/torture chamber of his father's church? This version of him never became a constable, and as such, does not believe in scientific reasoning and deduction. He also remained living with his father instead of moving to New York, so he's inherited dear ol' dad's fundamentalist beliefs, superstitious paranoia, and twisted, fanatical sense of "justice". And, because I'm a sucker for nostalgia and references, he's now a schoolteacher as custom in the original Irving tale. Woo.))
