(no subject)
waitin in the library again for my ten o'clock class. i really should be reading twelfth night as i have a quiz at 12, but i can't really be bothered.
i also could be writing up my part of the group project that i have to do for historical methods but ... i can't really be bothered to do that, either.
moving right along!
yesterday was very night. i got to take my car to school which was awesome. it also meant that i didn't have to get up and shower until 9. two extra hours of sleep = amazing. thennn i drove to my class at queens college and managed to get a parking spot in their parking lot (its permit only, oops) and i didn't get a ticket! and i got two assignments back in which i got an 88% and a 94% so thats good too! then i went to the uc and got some booster juice (yum yum) and it was all nice and sunny out and rb showed me the hello kitty stuff that he ordered for me for valentines day!! what a nice little boy. it shipped yesterday and everything! i actually may have it by saturday. that will be awesome.
n.e.wayz, then i had to leave to go volunteering at virginia park community centre and ... i loved it! hahaha. it was extremely casual. i was in charge of the homework room, so kids would just come in and out if they had homework to do or if they wanted to read, and there were also three computers and a sign up sheet that i had to monitor. the kids were half crazy, to be honest, but i loved them. they ALL had cellphones. even the ones in grade two and three, it was ridiculous. they made fun of me because i told them that i didn't have a cellphone when i was there age, but they shut up after they saw the phone that i have now. bwahahaha.
anyway, it was great, and i kind of wish i could do it everyday (think of all the volunteering hours i'd have then. mmm) but for now it's only once a week. i'm sure i could go more often if i asked, but i'll leave it for now i guess.
its been really nice and sunny (although bitterly cold) for the past few days and i really like it. it makes being in the library so much nicer, as the atmosphere of the library is completely dependent on the weather since there are sooo many windows. i actually don't feel like strangling myself for just being here.
i have a lot of homework in the next little while.
well ... really i just have a lot for the rest of term. i have an essay due tomorrow that i haven't started and one due on friday that i also haven't started. oops! then next week i have another grammar quiz (kill me now) and i have to have my newfoundland history paper proposal done. i don't have a clue what i'm going to write my essay on so i really think i need to meet with my prof and get him to help me choose a topic. i really feel like i don't know enough about the history to pick a really detailed subject to write on. euuuugghh. i wish that term papers didn't exist. i have ... what is it .... three of them i think? and i have yet to begin! whoops.
anyway i should really go and read my play so that i don't fail. i'm going to need to gaff a pen off of meghan again. the only thing that sucks about typing all your notes on a laptop is that oftentimes you don't bring a pen to school and that can prove to be kiiiinda problematic when you have to write a test! ok bye!
