It's almost St. Valentine's day. Sixteen days, to be precise. I feel that I should do something for Victoria, but what? If there's any day of the year which should be devoted to the sanctity of marriage, it's this...but then there's the arguement that it should be all about love and marriage be hanged

I suppose you're right. I mean, most men wouldn't think twice about having an affair with a married woman. You may not care about the image it presents, but I do have a slightly failed career to consider.

And there's the fact I haven't gone further than kissing a woman in twenty years.

Yes, well, you can see where it would be something of an inconvenience. And you might leave be a conversation between a man and his wife, you know. *definitely stressing the word "wife" here-- retaliation, perhaps, for the mention of Dorian, since there is definitely a note of tension in his voice now* I don't see what that has to do with anything.

She isn't in any grave danger that I know of, just now, so you appear to be doing better than usual. One would think you might make some effort to enjoy it.
