This Weekend's Putterings (fireflies)

For those of you that have asked about my lists, points, functionality rating, etcetera: information is going up at

keeping_score
and at

keeping_score_2
.
(I don't yet know if I want a community or a standard journal; the information is the same at both places.) Having finally started, I'm finding that I love doing this kind of thing. Everything is still under construction but you are welcome to check it out as long as you know I'm in draft mode.

Its been a pretty good weekend so far. I'm going to score Thursday, Friday and Saturday as my weekend and I'll deal with today seperately.

Weather:
'Tough to do these three days together. I think it was generally pleasant for us here at the little farm. Low 80's with not-terrible humidity. Plenty of sun. I haven't been outside much.
Mood Summary:
Anything would be an improvement over Wednesday. I've been recuperating from my temper tantrum. Yesterday, Ch-- had an all-day/all-night birthday party which was lovely for me. M-- hasn't wanted to be alone lately but she's not seeking constant company either. R-- had a headache for most of Saturday. I was going to leave the two of them to the quiet house but R-- recovered and I never went out. I think I'm okay ... or maybe a little better than okay. We'll see how today pans out.
Accomplishments:
Got started on Keeping Score
balanced the checkbooks
did a little laundry
tended animals properly
did some dog/cat training (which is going quite well)
played a game with Ch-- & R--
shopped for the birthday party / had a fun outing with Ch--
took care of phone calls and social contacts
kept household order at a reasonable level ('tho I need to spend some additional time on that today)
vacuumed both stories
...and other small things
Gratitudes:
FIREFLIES!!! (I almost forgot.) Ch-- and I caught two at the swamp crossroads and brought them home to release in our yard. (We already had a handful here.)
being with Ch-- when he sighted a deer in our courtyard (it was eating the baby apple tree...arrggg)
watching M-- reach out to her little brother for companionship and comfort
learning a new game (Rummikub??)
the local comic book store and the perfect clerk that helped us
finding a new series of Runaways for M--
live journal (which I've been reading in bits and pieces)
Ninja's first attempt at crowing
the weather
one of the chickens found the shelf R-- put in the bantam coop and they are now using it, finally :)
everything about the birthday party--we had a great time getting ready and he had a great time attending
my changing attitude toward family obligations and familial duty
the icon R-- made for Keeping Score
The conversations R-- and I have been sharing

superhuman
Daily score: 340. Emphases comparison: (health and body = 22/47) (hearth and home = 38/66) (mind and soul = 38/91 )
These weekend scores are funny. Still, I think the theory is sound: this total is for three days so the average daily score would be about 110. That feels right.

keeping score, memorable events, phenology, headaches, my chickens, putterings, medical notes
