Finished reading Cloud Atlas yesterday. How much do I love this book? So much I'm going to read it again on Sunday. It's just brilliantly written and utterly intruiging and invite you all to read it. Immediately. I also finished my other bookly purchases, namely Long Way Round and The Time-Travellers Wife, both of which were entertaining and made me want a super-cool motorbike and the ability to time travel.
However, as a result of the swiftness in which I consumed these novels, I realise I need to purchase/borrow/steal more over the summer. So I invite you, oh noble associates, lurkers and friends of friends, to recommend me some reading. Any reading is good, be it baffling or battle-like.
Already on said reading list are
Illiad (Homer)
Aenied (Virgil)
All Discworld books which I have not yet got my grubby mitts on (T.Pratchett)
The Dark Tower (S. King) (I can't believe I haven't read this yet)
Something which I have forgotten, etc etc.
