Ok, so the Potter exile begins today, I'm too freaked out by the possible spoilers. I actually had to leave the room last night because the BBC news nearly spoiled me, that's how desperate it's getting.
If you are interested in coming on Friday to Waterstones, RING ME. No more internet for me until Saturday so I will not get your messages/emails/whatever, unless you actually ring me and say we're going I will be there by myself. And yes, I will go by myself if that's what it takes.
I did think earlier this week that it might just be easier to get it in the morning, but then at midnight I'd know that millions of people were reading it and knowing the ending and I just wouldn't. I don't think I could cope, I'd die of impatience. It's like
cleolinda said, it kind of feels like Christmas when you were very small except it's been 10 years since you last had Christmas and you'll never get to have Christmas again. And it's getting exciting just because it's exciting, because so many people are so invested in finding out what happens, and I will be genuinely devastated if I get someone tells me what happens before I've read it. I managed to stay relatively spoiler-free for HBP and I am so hoping I will for this one too.
