I apologise if this entry reaches you in less than it's usual pristine condition. For some reason, Leeds university don't appear to believe in cleaning computer screens, and so everytime I look at whatever I'm typing I think I my eyesight must be getting really bad for a 19 year old, since everything is slightly grey-brown and blurred.
I feel like I'm beginning to live in the library. I've spent four hours here today, in between lectures, and when I get home I'll have an hour or so before I have to head off to flyball. I won't get back from that until 11pm-ish, and then I have to be up on my usual day-off because my lecturer for Greek Tragedy is a numpty. So that'll be another three hours in the library.
To be fair, I am using 30minutes now to write completely pointless LJ entires and moogle around the BBC website for travel information since the trains were delayed again this morning. I don't know why I bother checking, Transpennine just blatently lies.
(There's a breaking news story just come up - 115 people killed in bomb attacks around areas of Baghdad. Sometimes I wonder whether I should just live in the library forever).
The essays are going well, I think I've done most of the reading I need to for Nero now. Hopefully I'll be able to write a first draft of that this weekend, and maybe get it finished next week. And then I can start on Art & Society.
