Man Has It Been A Minute Since I've Used This...
Man where do I start? Well, one of the main reasons why I haven't been using this lately is because for some reason I can't view my friends page. So I have no clue what the hell is going on in everyone elses' lives. I don't know if I have faulty internet or a virus that keeps me from going to some of my most visited sites, but it's been like this for about three months now. I don't know if any other anime dorks like myself are having any trouble going to Dattebayo fansubs because I haven't seen the latest Naruto nor am I able to download anymore Bleach. I'm almost caught up on Bleach because it's been fucking amazing lately, I left off around ep 142 I think. So I'm quite sure after new years... I'm gonna format this puppy so I can get my settings back to normal.
What else has been up??? Oh right, I'm between jobs right now... no I didn't get fired in case you're wondering. I know I've been saying that Michigan is a tough place to find a job but Jesus fuck, I would have never imagined the job market being this cold! I hate to say it but it's almost as if three years at U of M doesn't amount to shit! So far I've applied and attended job fairs for Comcast, Ford, GM, TRW, a marketing firm named Pitney-Bowes, Best Buy, Circuit City, Kickers Bar & Grill, the Flight Club and the Landing Strip... and yes the last two are strip clubs.:P I was going for the bartender position! Damn! It's been almost three weeks since I left. I guess I don't feel TOO bad about it, I have some money stashed aside so I'll be able to pay bills for a while until I find another gig. Speaking of job loss, my homegirl Tracie got fired from Lakepointe... which really sucked because she was the main reason why I made so many visits. It's been almost two months now because they let her ago about two weeks after we went to that rave. I would've never thought in a million years that they would fire her but here we are. I think the manager Cathy just had it out for her because she fired her for a dumb reason; she got rid of her because Cathy had to bring one of her tables a beer and she made a mistake and threw out some guys soup before his main course came out.... seriously??? She was one of the best they had, and I'm not just saying that because she's drop dead gorgeous and looks great in lingerie... but she was pretty damned good at her job. Well, looking on the bright side I still have Kimmie... she's the only girl left still working there from when I started going there about two years ago now. I knew they weren't gonna be working there forever but damn!
Also, I bought a new iPod. I now have a 160GB iPod, I sold my 30GB for $250! Can you believe it?! I sold it for what I paid for it scratched up beyond shit and a whole year later! I filled up that 30GB within two months at a little over 6,100 songs, and it really bothered me that I couldn't put anything else on there because I still had more to go. I was gonna go with the 80GB for $250 but then I thought, "For another $100, I get twice the capacity." So I went with the biggest one they make thus far, and this way I know for a fact I have an abyss for a hard drive with this. On my new one... I've barely scratched the fucking surface, I have a 110 GB left!!! I've got 8,601 songs on there so far and I'm still putting more on there. My goal is to reach atleast 10,000 songs... just so I can say "Bitch I've got over 10,000 songs on my iPod!!!" Aside from hard drive space, the layout is better and it has slightly sharper screen resolution than the previous models. I fucking love this thing. With all this talk about music, I've really been on a Nine Inch Nails kick... I even bought the With Teeth Tour on DVD or as it's titled "Beside You in Time" or Halo 22. It's a good DVD because it comes in DTS but the performances and song selection from the first concert DVD "And All That Could Have Been..." from the Fragility 2.0 tour or Halo 17 were ten times better. And Trent Reznor looked a lot cooler back then.
Also my dad is going crazy again. But this time it's to the point where it's just fucked up. We don't even have company over anymore because we don't wanna subject people to meeting or talking to him... especially if company is non-negro.:P He's doing it without saying it but... he's trying to kick my younger brother and I out of the house. I come home one day to see my room in shambles with random shit sprawled all over my bed, crap all over the floor, posters LITERALLY ripped off the wall that have been there for ages... but there are new blinds in my room. He does the same thing where my entertainment center is; new blinds that cover a whole wall to block a window that's maybe two feet wide, the sectional turned upside down, speakers taken off the wall, you name it. I had to put EVERYTHING back together in there, I was insanely pissed because he didn't pay for that couch NOR the electronic components in there EXCEPT for that Daewoo... which turns out it isn't THAT bad of a TV when you're using HD resolution, but that's it. What REALLY pissed my younger brother and I off is when he just goes apeshit while my brother is using this laptop here and starts clearing off the table like a mad man, throws my iPod in the next room, my cell, and starts taking apart the dining room table. My little brother is like, "Whoa, there's some expensive shit over here and I don't like where you're going with this." and my dad goes, "Get all this shit off of here." and my brother goes, "Why?"... hence he continues to take down the table so my bro just grabs the laptop and the things connected to it. He takes out a six foot dining room table to bring in a breakfast nook with a glass table top that's about three feet in diameter! Because he felt the dining room table "Took up too much space." And he wants to throw away all of our discs safely organized that sit on the floor next to us because it looks bad for when company is over. Nigga what company?!?! This muthafucka had his weed man IN the house and GAVE him a Christmas present!!! And introduced him to my mother! My mom nearly lost her damned mind when that happened. The next time he came around the house looking for my dad I had to pull him to the side and I told him, "Yo, I ain't gonna knock what you do but... you can't come around here anymore. My mom is saying if she catches you in or near this house again she was gonna write down your license plate number and report you. So, you just can't bring that shit around here anymore." That muthafucka had some bullshit weed anyway... it should be green! I can go on forever about why this guy is a toolbox but needless to say it's really time to go, that's why I can't wait until tax time so I can get my big refund check once again and get the fuck away from this place!

Other than that I've been chilling at the house here catching up on Bleach and playing GT4 now that I actually have time for video games as of now. In my downtime I've seen quite a few good flicks: American Gangster... awesome, I Am Legend... cool, Superbad... hilarious, The Simpsons Movie... fucking hilarious, The Kingdom... cool, but the very end was kinda... bleh. It kinda leaves you going, "Th-that's it????" I've also done a number of drawings too of more Lakepointe girls and whatever... check it out...
Manga Nikki, this is almost spitting image of her. Don't believe me??? Look at the pictures from the rave and tell me that drawing doesn't look like her.
I was thinking of that episode of Naruto when Rock Lee decked Gaara so hard his face looked like it was crumbling apart. I call it, "Temporary Insanity". That kind of face that says, "I will eat your babies bitch!!!"
Then there's Manga Whitney aka Whitney the Pooh whom I don't have a picture of but she wanted me to draw her anyway. And she didn't even get mad for drawing her boobs like that... because that's how they appear. Anyone else notice the Smashing Pumpkins/Billy Corgan reference yet? And she's cool because she loves my sweet potato pie... and I'm talking about the actual pie... it's not a nickname for my unit alright?!?!
And last but not least Manga Kassandra aka Kassie. Everytime I see her that Chili Peppers song comes to mind. You know, "She's only 18, done life a rolling stone, she took a short cut, to be a fully grown..." Which means she's still legal... and I'm seven years her senior. But that girl is really trying to grow up too fast. Anyway, she doesn't play guitar but I'd thought she'd look cool with a Gibson Les Paul... c'mon it's an awesome guitar! When the likes of people like Jimmy Paige, Duane Allman, Ace Frehley, Slash, and Trent Reznor use it... it just might be a damned good instrument. Speaking of Trent, I kinda got the idea of her shirt by looking on NIN "The Fragile" album (Halo 14) illustrated here...
I was gonna draw her with a Flyleaf tshirt because they have a song named "Cassie", but that song is really depressing and NIN is so much cooler. Still pretty cool though, and I completely stole the pose from the guitar girl on FLCL... I think her name was Hanako. I'm not sure, it's been a while.
And I think that'll suffice for my last post of 2007, I'll try to use this more often in the new year.:) But until then... Happy New Year everybody!!!
