The clothes and shoes are all great, except maybe those chunky pink glossy platform spaghetti straps, just not so sure about them... I do however love the antique Chinese (they might be Japanese, not sure) screens as a backdrop, gives the campaign a vintage and sophisticated feel.

I think those pink ones go really well with that dress. Also, they're in interesting take on older Geisha shoes.

Fair enough, but to me they seem more like the shoes worn by ganguro than anything else.

Haha, in that color, I'd agree with you :)

I don't really mind the color that much, and it does match the dress, but it just seems a little to much with the straps, plus I don't like the glossy finish. I would have liked it more if it had been a flat pink in a softer hue, and just a little less chunky.

I don't mind the color that much either, but that shade definitely reminds me of ganguro girls.

With the rest, I agree.

It's nice that we could share or opinions without saying ur gay, u suk, or ur rtrd. Looking again, a lot this collection seems Geisha inspired, the waists of several pieces look a lot like an obi.

Agreed :)

That's true, I hadn't noticed that. The asymmetric closures are also reminiscent of Chinese dresses (cheonsams or however you spell it.)

I hadn't noticed THAT. It's cheongsam, but close enough, I had to consult my gf on that one.

Hehe, it's nice to have a reason to go back and observe instead of just giving it a one over.

Very true, my opinions often change when I go back and look at something a second time.
