I think I’ve reached a new low…

I have been going through the immense collection of the Bibliothèque des Arts Décoratifs, trying to compile fashion plates depicting either crazy hats or the chemise a la reine, and after two days, and about 10 total hours at it, I’ve started to go a little mad. So, because I’m about thirty minutes away from needing a straight jacket, I started imagining the dialog in the various scenes in the fashion plates. As you do.
I probably shouldn’t be sharing these with you all, but hell… I’m going to live life on the edge a bit.
And if you’re interested in going through the Collection Maciet to see all the crazy hats and the smug little bastards wearing them for yourself, A Frolic Through Time has a handy tutorial for those with only a smattering of French on how to search their freaking HUGE collection of 18th century fashion plates. It’s totally worth it. Don’t let me fool you into thinking otherwise.
And now, where did I put that straight jacket?
