Here’s another painting of Marie-Therese and her little brother, showing her wearing a chemise gown. Just wanted to throw this out there, as an addendum to my last post. Today’s post is going to be brief, as I have some catching up to do on other projects.

One interesting thing that I want to point out about this particular chemise, is what looks like a double row of tucks about calf-level on the skirt. Very practical, as the tucks could be let out as she grew.
