i bought a coat yesterday. it proved quite a task...finding one warm enough that didn't contain down feathers as a filler, finding one that was absent of wool...but alas! i found one. burlington coat factory was nothing but a let down, full of animals. tj maxx, however, fulfilled my needs to the maxxx! i'm so lucky. my new brown coat came with a decent price, too. it has these plastic button/long teeth things that go over the zipper which i wish to paint pink though.
i'm slowly fixing my credit fraud problem. geez, three years has passed since that fucker stole my identity, and i'm STILL dealing with it. i really hope he leaves me alone now.
sommer and emily are in town and hopefully i can get them out to LA for some dancing at the fabulously forgotten bang. (its good only in strategically separated doses).
wow. i got some awesome presents. 4 pairs of jeans that i needed very badly, a dashboard cover, a 4 in 1 gateway music player (mp3s, fm radio, and voice recorder---its so fun to loop stuff!) from my moms and pops. from j- a new record player (which i'm not sure i needed...i have one but maybe he's hinting that i should rid myself of it since joey gave it to me), sgt pepper's and ike/tina on vinyl, two books- prozac nation and ask the dawn, another scarf, a mini tape recorder. from barb- an awesome little wallet that i really needed! with a little monkey on it!
so i bought myself a coat and a new mic cord yesterday. guitar center's staff seemed different yesterday. i don't think i've ever seen so many long haired middle aged men there. don't get me wrong, i thought it was awesome- they probably really enjoy their job. and it was pleasing to see good ole mikey faix's bro at the door. i think his name is jason. and he bears such resemblance to my friend.
i finally finished the unbearable lightness of being. although, i've read it in so many pieces that i feel i should read it altogether again. it really is a fantastic book and i want to get everything out of it that i can.
oh my, everything is in pieces, my head and mind is in shambles as orders, but last night we all played the game CRANIUM and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!! i haven't played a board game in so long!
okay, time to go. tata. today is my distant friend natalie's 21st bday.
