Back in Vietnam, as well as in other wars, the soldiers were subjected to psychological warfare. You know, someone plays with their mind to break them down and thus obtain information. It has now come to my attention that a similar form of psychological warfare is going on in my own life.
Evidence #1:
My computer is possessed. In fact, I think it has been indwelt by satan himself at times. Every once in a while, the screen just blinks. It's somewhat like an insomniac flash of light, except I'm not tired. Then, it won't play music, and freezes. Then it won't even open 'My Computer'. When I try to shut it down, it sits there for hours on end, forcing me to turn the damn thing off, starting a new cycle of blue screen scan disk on startup and freezing screens.
Evidence #2:
My shower is also possessed. When I first moved in, I could take a normal shower, like any other person living in America. Suddenly, and without explanation, my hot water just decided to stop working. Now, every day it is a hit and miss adventure. Today the hot water lasted an amazing 5 solid minutes. In what seemed an eternity, I actually didnt have to hurry... that much. Most days, the hot water lasts about 2.5 minutes before going ice cold. In fact, yesterday the hot water lasted 30 seconds -- no exaggeration. I didn't even get to wash my hair.
