My sil Sue got Missy and I both Stampin Up books. (Stampin Up is like Tupperware, they come do parties at your house, teach you techniques and get you to buy lots of stamps) Missy and I went to lunch then Recollections. I got some stencils then kinda copied an idea in the Stampin Up book. This card is clean and fancy, not my usual style. I will probably still stamp a word on it.
Last night my pal Aleta and I got talking about Tattoos and she said she would get a lady bug. I told her they are a symbol of good luck. I found this stencil on sale today also and made this card for her. It uses an new fiskar punch, distressing on the green then pastels on the stencil.
Mostly tonight I worked on techniques then hung them to remember how to do them on my bulletin board. I messed a lot with stencils and watermark ink (which is tricky stuff) I put little instructions by items.
See the ribbon, I even made it a magnet! Left is a stencil distressed, next is stencil with pigment ink embossed in clear, flower is just example of cut out on Bazzill paper and same for slouching flower.
