wow.
i had a conversation with Ariel Pink last night.
Me and Brendan went to Little Joy where he and some other folks were DJ-ing and supposedly giving away free tickets to the Gary Wilson show. We already had tickets, but went anyway because there was supposed to be a dance contest to win. We played some pool, had some drinks, I danced a little but I was the only person doing it.
So we're about to leave and we are standing by this guy that looks like him, but his hair is really long. Turns out to be Ariel. He was nicer than I expected from stories I've heard...I think I made an ass of myself though because I was kinda drunk and we started arguing about Tiny Creatures gallery and Janet (the curator)'s boyfriend was standing right there. Oh well...
