Well, NaNoWriMo has finally started. Things are going well, and I've reached 3,400 words so far today. I'm taking a quick break now, but will get right on to it. Right now I'm eating Samosa's and doughnuts. mMm doughnuts

Nanowrimo is a great experience. It's my fourth year doing it. The second week, for some reason, is always very difficult. Get past that and it'll be all good.
Whether or not that one person genuinely did it I cannot say, but others have completed 'NaNoWriDa'. The 50,000 words in this case took a little less than two days. The person in question wanted to have finished the novel before the US started day 2, but they were in 'stralia so they had a big head start.
Its an interesting challenge, but I edit too much to be able to do it. A good typist who writes a load of crap (which it'd have to be) could do the whole thing in 8 hours with no rest.
Though I am skeptical of a lot of people's claims - I reckon some people have seen the challenge and couldn't resist.
If I survive this year, I might consider 100k next year, but that depends on my commitments I guess. Anyway, consider yourself 'buddied'.

I can upload an already written novel in day one too.
You really can't tell me that someone has written a complete novel in 1 day.
