Vacation, Day 2
I am so tired, and my legs are sore and my knees hurt! Vacation is hard!
Got the sink area in the kitchen ready for neighbor B to start doing whatever he needs to do to get my dishwasher installed. While I was emptying the spice rack and medicine shelves that hubb iebuilt (and cleaning out under the sink), B replaced my burnt out brake light and then spent the rest of the afternoon changing the backyard/porch light switches. By the time he’d finished, I had 2 switches instead of one. The switch that controls the patio/carport works fine. Unfortunately, the porch light doesn’t.
Tomorrow.
Sat outside on the deck with neighbor A for an hour or so this afternoon. Weather was perfect! Guess it’s going to start getting colder and wetter tomorrow, but today was lovely! Gotta love Colorado.
I went to the Handle Bar and got us a couple of orders of their appetizer sampler and brought it home for dinner. A made a salad and we sat out on the patio this evening and ate. So nice. Wish hubbie were here.
I’ve been drinking wine, watching TV and filing. Actually got a lot done today. Not as much as I wanted, but more than I usually get done on a vacation day.
I start early tomorrow with a dentist appointment, then more putzing around the house while B works on the dishwasher. A is going to take E to the doctor and then grocery shopping. Won’t miss that!
I miss hubbie so very much.
