sarcasm and an update
Ah the joys of having a weekend job, which is going quietly today, whilst everyone else is off doing various adventures, not posting to LJ. Can you say bored? I think so... one can only read so much of the news without feeling overwhelmed with the negativity and brutality of our fine country and international politics. Working in a call center I can't call folks to chat... or I wouldn't be doing my job, waiting for the phone to ring. So I read and try not to think to much about things that get me down. Of course you can't really get into what you are reading as just when you do, the phone will ring. but enough about my pathetic duldrums... onto the exciting part...
Getting ready for Shibaricon. I hope my shoulders are limber enough. Went to my chiropractor last night after a really good/hard/quick ride home. I received a really good adjustment and am sore today. The pain in my pec/sternum is likely a slightly torn pec at the 3rd rib head, I hope it won't affect my adventures in Chicago. He rubbed on it and it's really, really, really tender today.
L is off on a kayak adventure. I hope the little bit of spotty sunshine is shining where she is... as it wasn't forecasted nicely, full of rain. Further she is staying with her gf (and the 4 cats that sleep in her bed) for two nights, something that hasn't happened in over 4 years. I'm not used to it and tending the house and all the animals/plants... while working (my regular 10 hour day) and bootblacking tonight (at the Cuff for fundraiser). Should be interesting. I predict L will be exhausted when she gets home tomorrow evening, likely heading shortly if not directly to bed. I'll start packing for Chicago then.
Additionally, I'm not sure what the hormone experiment has done for my previously regular cycle. When will I actually start bleeding? While I'm in Chicago????? Presently craving chocolate and fat.
