- A person's tragedy is proportional to his prior happiness.The more you believe, the harder you fall, the more shattered you become. Nihilism is the antidote.
- The truest form of goodness is the innate goodness. You know a person's truly good when kindness forms not a part of his moral code, but part of his living code. Because moral codes are fueled by imagery and ideals and fluctuate with society; living codes, on the other hand, are fueled by conviction, and are as indestructible as the person who holds the beliefs.
